Romain Saïss wins the Qatari league title with Al Sadd
Romain Saïss, alongside Al Sadd, secured the Qatari league title following a decisive victory over Al Ahli, winning 5-0 in a match held on Friday during the final round of the local league competition.
The Moroccan defender participated in 11 matches with Al Sadd this season, covering both the local league and the AFC Champions League, before being sidelined by injury since February, when he underwent ankle surgery.
This marks Al Sadd’s second consecutive title, finishing the season at the top of the table with 52 points, two points ahead of their closest rivals, Al Duhail.
