Gold Hits All-Time High Amid Dollar Decline
Gold reached its highest level ever on Monday as the dollar fell to its lowest point in three years, raising concerns about a global economic recession.
Spot gold increased by 1% to $3,361.53 per ounce.
U.S. gold futures climbed by 1.4% to $3,375.90.
In other precious metals, silver rose by 0.1% to $32.63 per ounce, platinum gained 0.2% to reach $969.20, while palladium decreased by 0.3% to $959.20.
