The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts that today, Friday, the weather will be somewhat warm in the central interior plains, the small Atlas regions, the far southeastern areas, and within the southern provinces of the Kingdom.
There is also an expectation of foggy patches in the northern Atlantic plains and the northwestern regions of the southern provinces, especially during the morning, with cumulonimbus clouds forming during midday that may produce scattered showers, potentially thunderous, in the Great and Middle Atlas and the eastern high plateaus. Additionally, light and scattered rain is expected tonight in the Tangier region, Loukos, the Rif, and the western Mediterranean coast.
Local sandy winds will blow in the northern desert provinces of the Kingdom, southeastern areas, and the southern eastern region, along with occasional strong gusts of wind over the central coasts, the southern eastern region, the Middle Atlas, and the desert provinces.
Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 4 and 11 degrees in the Atlas and Rif mountains, between 13 and 18 degrees in the Sous region and the plains west of the small Atlas, as well as in the south and far southeast. The temperature will range between 8 and 15 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom.
The sea will be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, slightly rough in the northern region of Mehdiya, and vary from slightly rough to rough along other coasts.
