Oil prices fell on Monday after concerns about Russian supplies eased following a meeting between the U.S. and Russian presidents.
Brent crude futures dropped by 26 cents, or 0.39 percent, to $65.59 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude declined by 18 cents, or 0.29 percent, to $62.62 a barrel.
Last Friday, U.S. President Donald Trump met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska, aiming to reach a peace agreement to end the war in Ukraine.
Economic observers believe that these discussions regarding a resolution to the war in Ukraine have introduced uncertainty into the market, causing oil to trade within a narrow range recently.
