Baitas: The Government Monitors the Impacts of Middle Eastern Crises and Confirms the Resilience of the National Economy

Mustafa Baitas, the Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament and the government’s spokesperson, affirmed that the government is closely monitoring developments related to crises in the Middle East and their potential repercussions on the global economy, emphasizing that the national economy enjoys a degree of resilience in the face of these fluctuations.

During the press conference that followed the Moroccan government council meeting, Baitas clarified that public authorities continuously track the effects of geopolitical tensions, especially concerning energy prices and global supply chains.

The government official pointed out that Morocco continues to adopt a range of policies and measures aimed at reinforcing economic and financial balances while maintaining the stability of the domestic market amid international changes.

He also stressed that the government is working to support various economic sectors and to take necessary measures to mitigate any potential repercussions from international crises, ensuring the continuity of economic dynamics and protecting the purchasing power of citizens.
