Rachid Talbi Alami Receives Chile’s New President

In Santiago, Chile’s President José Antonio Kast received Rachid Talbi Alami, who represented His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the inauguration ceremony of Kast.
This meeting took place on the sidelines of the formal swearing-in ceremony for the new President of Chile.
In a statement to the Moroccan News Agency, Talbi Alami confirmed that this reception, which also included Chile’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Francisco Pérez Mackenna and Morocco’s Ambassador to Santiago Kenza Ghali, provided an opportunity to convey His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s greetings and congratulations to President José Antonio Kast on his inauguration.
He also highlighted Morocco’s commitment, under the wise leadership of His Majesty the King, to work with Chile to enhance and strengthen the exceptional friendship between the two countries and to develop bilateral cooperation in various fields to serve the interests of both friendly peoples.
His Majesty King Mohammed VI had sent a congratulatory message to Kast, expressing his warmest congratulations to the new president and wishing him every success in his noble tasks “to lead the friendly Chilean people toward further progress and prosperity.”
