Brih is on a working visit to Ethiopia
By royal instructions from His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, General Mohamed Brih, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the Southern Region, is on a working visit to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia from April 23 to 26, as stated by the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
During this visit, General Mohamed Brih held a meeting with his counterpart, Marshal Berhanu Jula, Chief of the General Staff of the Ethiopian National Defense Forces, where they discussed several topics related to joint military cooperation.
Both military officials expressed satisfaction with the new dynamic in military relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Ethiopia. In this context, they discussed a draft agreement concerning various aspects of bilateral military cooperation aimed at strengthening and developing the prospects of this partnership, which will be signed between the two countries soon.
The source further explained that during the visit, and in the presence of Nejla al-Alaoui Mohammadi, Ambassador of His Majesty in Addis Ababa, General Mohamed Brih met with State Minister for Defense Marta Lojji to discuss ways to enhance military cooperation between the two countries.
According to the statement, this visit was also an opportunity to inspect several facilities and military institutes belonging to the Ethiopian National Defense Forces, including the Cyber Security Management and Artificial Intelligence Institute, the Bishoftu Air Base, and the ammunition factory.
