The government approved the draft decree No. 2.25.235 amending the decree No. 2.12.175 issued on the 8th of Rajab 1433 (30 May 2012) implementing Law No. 59.09 related to the establishment of the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Logistics Activities, presented by the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Abdessamad Guijj.

The Minister in charge of Relations with Parliament and spokesperson for the government, Mustafa Baytas, stated in a press conference following the government council meeting that this draft decree aims to align the provisions of Article Two of the aforementioned decree No. 2.12.175, which stipulates that the state exercises its oversight of this agency through the Minister of Equipment and Transport, with the provisions of Article Three of decree No. 2.24.992 issued on the 24th of Rabi’ Al-Akhir 1446 (28 October 2024), concerning the competencies of the Minister of Transport and Logistics, which assigned the oversight of the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Logistics Activities to the Minister of Transport and Logistics.

The minister mentioned that the primary purpose of this draft decree is to assign the state oversight of the aforementioned agency to the governmental authority responsible for logistics.
