The Chief Inspector of the Royal Armed Forces on a working visit to the State of Qatar
By Royal Instructions from His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mohamed Berrid, Chief Inspector of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the Southern Zone, conducted a working visit to the sister State of Qatar from April 19 to April 22, 2025.
In a statement issued by the General Command of the Royal Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mohamed Berrid held a meeting this past Sunday with his Qatari counterpart, Lieutenant General Pilot Jasem bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Manaei, Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, which was followed by a meeting with His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs. The discussions focused on ways to enhance the bilateral military cooperation under the high directives of the leaders of both countries – may God bless them.
The statement noted that both officials expressed satisfaction with the strong and understanding military relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the sister State of Qatar, appreciating the tangible results achieved by this fruitful cooperation, which is regarded as a model for strategic partnership between the two countries.
Additionally, Lieutenant General Mohamed Berrid visited several leaderships and military units of the Qatari Armed Forces, including the Joint Operations Command, the Amir’s Signal Corps, and the Air Defense Forces.
The source added that the visit of the Chief Inspector of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the Southern Zone to the sister State of Qatar is a continuation of efforts aimed at strengthening the bonds of bilateral military cooperation and exploring avenues to develop the prospects of this partnership, extending its scope to include various fields that serve the mutual interests of the armed forces of both countries.
