"Moroccan Week" Organized in Nouakchott This April
Today, Friday, it was announced in Nouakchott that "Moroccan Week" will take place from April 24 to 30 under the slogan "Together to Build a Solidarity Partnership."
According to a statement from the Moroccan Embassy in Nouakchott, this economic and cultural event aims to highlight the richness and authenticity of Morocco’s tangible and intangible heritage.
This event, which is a manifestation of His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s desire to enhance cooperation with Mauritania in all areas, is set to celebrate the deep-rooted historical ties and brotherly bonds between the two countries.
The program for "Moroccan Week," organized by the Embassy of Morocco in Nouakchott in collaboration with the "Southern Forum" Association and in partnership with several entities from Morocco and Mauritania, features a variety of rich and diverse activities, including dedicated exhibition spaces and business meetings between entrepreneurs and company representatives from both countries.
Exhibition corridors and traditional market spaces will be established at the designated site for "Moroccan Week," showcasing traditional crafts and regional Moroccan products. Scientific seminars and workshops will also be organized on "Prospects for Economic Cooperation between Morocco and Mauritania" and "Challenges of Energy Transition in both countries."
According to the same source, in addition to promoting the potential of the Moroccan economy, the segments of "Moroccan Week" will serve as a journey to discover the richness of the Kingdom’s heritage and culture, whether through the arts of authentic Moroccan cuisine and local products or the authenticity, beauty, and diversity of traditional crafts and Moroccan lifestyle in general.
The event program also includes musical nights featuring Moroccan and Mauritanian artists, as well as poetry evenings with prominent poets from both countries.
