Moroccan DJ Rash is set to release a new version of the song “Inas Inas” by the late Mohamed Rouicha, one of the icons of Amazigh music. This artistic endeavor merges the essence of traditional heritage with the spirit of modern electronic music, featuring the participation of Ahmed Allah Rouicha, the son of the late artist.

Moroccan music producer and DJ Rash’s manager, Moha Sebai, revealed that this artistic project aims to revive one of the most famous Amazigh songs but with a twist: it will be blended with the increasingly popular Afro-house rhythms both within Morocco and abroad.

Sebai emphasized that “Inas Inas” is not just a song; it represents a part of the collective musical memory of Moroccans. In its sweet Amazigh language, it expresses timeless human emotions. He explained that the new work would maintain the essence of the original song and its poignant lyrics while introducing contemporary musical touches to appeal to younger tastes, bridging the past and present, and conveying the message that Amazigh heritage is also capable of renewal and evolution while preserving its core, as it is a cornerstone of Moroccan cultural identity.

He pointed out that this artistic initiative seeks to connect the new generation with Amazigh musical heritage, especially in light of the shifts in global artistic tastes. He added that “Inas Inas” will always be a song charged with nostalgia, even if it is reprogrammed into new sound frameworks.

Sebai mentioned that the involvement of the son of the Amazigh music legend Mohamed Rouicha, who carried the torch, will feature the traditional “ouled” instrument as a tribute to his father’s legacy of achievements and recognition of his contributions to Amazigh music, which have remained timeless for new generations.

According to the Moroccan producer, this initiative is part of a growing artistic dynamic in Morocco in recent years, where many artists are increasingly looking to harness local musical heritage and present it with modern touches that resonate with younger generations and keep pace with global musical changes.

It is noteworthy that DJ Rash is a music producer and maker who began his artistic career in the 1990s. He is known for his unique touch in music distribution, setting him apart from many artists interested in the same genre.
