Mohammed Chouki, president of the National Rally of Independents party, expressed pride in the collaborative experience shared with his allies, the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) and the Independence Party. He emphasized that this partnership has been “harmonious and supportive,” contributing to several achievements across various government sectors managed by the three parties.
Chouki acknowledged that the ruling coalition does not claim to have reached perfection. He noted that some initiatives fell short of expectations due to time constraints, obstacles, or managerial choices that did not yield the desired outcomes. He maintained that such challenges are typical in any governmental experience.
He described the current government as exceptional and did not dismiss the possibility of its continuation in the future, although he refrained from speculating on political dynamics too early. Chouki stressed that political alliances are guided by clear standards and decisions should follow established procedures and relevant institutions. He reiterated his respect for both PAM and the Independence Party, as well as for all players in Morocco’s political landscape.
Looking ahead, Chouki urged a focus on substantive political competition, highlighting the importance of projects and programs that parties will present to citizens. He pointed out that the outcomes of upcoming elections will define the true standing and significance of each political initiative. He reiterated that the National Rally of Independents enters this phase from a position of responsibility, prioritizing Moroccan citizens in its commitments and asserting that future political decisions should stem from democratic choices rather than speculative analysis.
