Lead
At the 2026 International Agricultural Exhibition in Morocco, GPC, a leading player in paper and cardboard packaging, announced a significant expansion by launching a major investment project in Meknes. This €200 million initiative aims to strengthen the agricultural supply chain and enhance the competitiveness of Moroccan exports.

Industrial Expansion in Meknes
GPC’s new industrial facility, located in the Agropolis Meknes industrial zone, is set to become a cornerstone for modern agricultural packaging solutions tailored for international markets. With construction already over 50% complete, the plant is expected to be operational by the end of 2026. This strategic investment reflects GPC’s commitment to supporting the agrarian regions of Fes-Meknes, particularly in developing key production chains for citrus fruits and stone fruits.

Innovative Packaging Solutions
The company unveiled a range of new agricultural packaging solutions designed specifically to meet international export standards. These innovations include special boxes for 10-kilogram citrus packs and advanced packaging for red fruits, avocados, and peppers, all aimed at enhancing the quality and marketability of Moroccan products abroad. Notably, GPC is pioneering the use of digital printing technology in Morocco and Africa, providing greater customization and boosting the appeal of Moroccan agricultural goods on the global stage.

Commitment to Quality and Competitiveness
GPC’s presence at this prominent agricultural event underscores its ambition to keep pace with the evolving Moroccan agricultural sector. The company’s focus is not just on increasing export volumes but also on raising quality and adding value to Moroccan produce. With an extensive industrial footprint across Kenitra, Mohammedia, Agadir, and Berkane, GPC commands more than 50% of the industrial packaging market and nearly 35% of the agricultural sector, producing over 220,000 tons of corrugated cardboard annually.

With this dynamic approach, GPC reaffirms its vital role in supporting Morocco’s agricultural production chains and enhancing the visibility of the “Made in Morocco” brand in international markets.
