Upcoming Matches for National Teams in March Gatherings

On Friday, March 13, the National Technical Directorate announced the schedule for the matches and training camps of various national teams for different age categories during the international break from March 23 to 31.

The Technical Directorate stated in a communiqué published on the Royal Moroccan Football Federation’s website that these training camps are part of the ongoing efforts to monitor the development of young football talents, alongside preparing the national teams for upcoming continental and international competitions.

The communiqué noted that the under-23 national team will play two friendly matches at the Mohammed VI Football Complex against Saudi Arabia (March 26) and Ivory Coast (March 31).

Similarly, the under-20 national team will have two friendly matches at the same complex, facing the first team of Olympique de Khouribga and the first team of Meknes Club, while the under-18 national team will participate in a friendly tournament in Portugal, facing Portugal on March 25, the United States on March 28, and Iceland on March 31.

Furthermore, the under-17 national team will play two friendly matches against Uzbekistan on March 17 and 19 at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, and it will also participate in the North African Union Championship qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations under-17, set to take place in Libya from March 24 to April 5.

As for the under-16 national team, the communiqué added that it will play three friendly matches in Turkey against Norway (March 25), Turkey (March 28), and Ukraine (March 30).

The communiqué indicated that the under-15 national team will participate in the African Schools Championship for under-15, scheduled from April 2 to 10, 2026, in Mozambique.
