Morocco and Jordan Discuss Strengthening Economic and Trade Partnership in Rabat

Moroccan Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, welcomed the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Kingdom of Morocco, Jumana Ghneimat, during her visit to the ministry’s headquarters in the capital, Rabat. This meeting aimed to support bilateral cooperation relations and enhance the economic partnership between the two brotherly countries.

During this meeting, the current state of Jordanian-Moroccan economic and trade relations was reviewed, and prospects for expanding cooperation in the fields of industry, trade, and investment were discussed, to serve common interests and open new opportunities for economic actors in both countries.

The two sides also exchanged views on current regional and international economic challenges and ways to enhance coordination and integration to address them, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts amid the economic transformations taking place in the region and the world.

Both parties stressed the depth of the fraternal ties that bind the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Kingdom of Morocco, based on mutual respect and fruitful cooperation. In this context, Ambassador Jumana Ghneimat expressed her appreciation for the efforts exerted by the Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Trade in supporting economic development and improving the investment climate, stressing Jordan’s commitment to advancing bilateral cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.

For his part, Minister Ryad Mezzour praised the strong relations between the two countries, reiterating Morocco’s readiness to continue joint work with the Jordanian side to enhance economic partnership and achieve mutual benefit for both brotherly peoples.
