Axel Belabbasi, the Kabyle leader, called Morocco’s victory in Western Sahara a historic turning point for North Africa.
In a post he shared on his account, Belabbasi stated, “Yesterday was a historic day for Morocco and all of North Africa,” emphasizing that “the triumph of Moroccan diplomacy represents a real shift towards peace and stability in the region.”
He added that as someone from the Kabyle region of Algeria, he shares in the joy of Moroccans over this event, extending “warmest congratulations and wishing Morocco further successes in the future.”
