Reports suggest an anticipated match between Morocco and Argentina.
According to Argentine media reports, the Moroccan national team has emerged as a prominent contender to face Argentina in a friendly match next November, following the cancellation of a scheduled game against India. As reported by the Argentine newspaper “Olé,” Morocco has been included as an alternative option for Argentina’s second match during the international window, after Angola was confirmed as their first opponent.
It seems that the Argentine Football Association is seeking a strong matchup against a Moroccan side that is on an upward trajectory in terms of performance, especially after delivering impressive showings in recent tournaments. Conversely, this encounter would provide an ideal opportunity for Morocco to prepare thoroughly for future challenges, including the Africa Cup of Nations in 2025.
For its part, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has confirmed its readiness to host this match at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, which recently opened and is one of the most prominent stadiums in the country, accommodating around 70,000 spectators. Although the Argentine Football Association has not yet officially announced the match, preparations are underway to arrange this encounter, which could be the last friendly for Argentina in 2025.
