The Moroccan housing support program is witnessing a growing interest from citizens, with recorded applications reaching a total of 198,064 by the end of September, as revealed by government spokesperson Mustafa Baaitas during a press conference following today’s cabinet meeting.

Baaitas indicated that the number of actual beneficiaries of the program has reached 66,305 individuals, pointing out that these figures reflect the increasing confidence in this governmental initiative aimed at facilitating access to housing, particularly for young people and low-income families.

The government official noted that young people under the age of thirty represent approximately 37 percent of the total beneficiaries, while women comprise 47 percent, indicating a growing presence of women in such social programs. Additionally, the Moroccan diaspora accounts for around 24 percent of the beneficiaries, highlighting the interest of the Moroccan community abroad in this national project.
