The Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation received the Technical Excellence Award from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Rome on Wednesday, a recognition that underscores Morocco’s status as a key player in fostering South-South cooperation for development under the leadership of King Mohammed VI.

This award was presented at the World Food Forum (WFF), reaffirming the Kingdom’s commitment, according to the visionary approach of His Majesty, to support international solidarity and the exchange of expertise in sustainable agriculture and food security.

The agency was honored in the category of “South-South and Triangular Cooperation” for its efforts in strengthening partnerships among Southern countries and its effective contribution to disseminating innovative solutions and best practices in development.

Through this recognition, the FAO commended the agency’s efforts and those of its national and international partners in implementing cooperation programs that contribute to sustainable human development and the resilience of agricultural systems.
