A tragic road accident occurred on Tuesday evening, October 14th, in Mohammedia, claiming the life of prominent politician “Abdelhak Imhmed”, a former member of parliament and former president of the Aouinat Four local council. The circumstances surrounding the incident have incited widespread sorrow among his acquaintances and local residents.
According to sources at the scene, the accident took place shortly after the Maghrib prayer as the deceased was leaving one of the mosques in the city when he was struck by a large truck passing nearby. He died instantly from severe injuries.
The same sources reported that emergency services and national police immediately intervened upon receiving notification of the accident, with the body being transported to the mortuary while authorities launched an investigation to determine the circumstances and details of the incident.
The passing of “Abdelhak” has left a significant shock within his family and friends, as well as in political and local circles, where he was known as one of the prominent local figures in the Sidi Bnou Nour region.
It is worth noting that “Abdelhak Imhmed” had served as a parliamentary deputy for the Sidi Bnou Nour constituency and chaired the Aouinat Four council for several years.
