The National Office of Railways launches a new offer to accompany the back-to-school season

The National Office of Railways announced on Monday, September 15, 2025, the introduction of a new integrated transport offer to align with the social season, amidst ongoing work on the high-speed train project linking Kenitra and Marrakech.

The planned changes include extended travel times, a temporary closure of the Mars Sultan station, and modifications to departure times on several lines.

In return, the office has enhanced its service with several innovations aimed at improving the travel experience, including:

– The launch of a direct line between Safi and Casablanca Voyageurs, with departures from Safi at 07:00 AM and returns from Casablanca at 05:05 PM.
– Strengthening the connection between Taza and Fez by adding two new trips, one departing in the morning from Taza (06:20 AM) and the other in the evening from Fez (06:20 PM).
– Upgrading Taza station to provide better reception conditions and ensuring the continuity of service towards Al Hoceima via “Superatour” buses.
– Scheduling two additional “Fast Experimental” trains on the El Jadida–Casablanca Port route around 07:00 PM.
– Adding new stop stations along the close routes between Casablanca and Rabat.

This announcement follows a record of over 14 million passengers using the rail services during the summer of 2025, indicating significant demand for the office’s services.

The office confirmed that these adjustments aim to maintain the usual service while ensuring regular train schedules despite ongoing construction work, with improvement in comfort, reliability, and better connections among various regions to provide a smoother travel experience that meets passenger expectations.
