Launch of a National Program for Balanced Nutrition Awareness and Education through Sports Targeting 30,000 Children in Morocco

On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in Casablanca, the official launch of a new national program aimed at raising awareness about balanced nutrition and education through sports took place. This initiative was launched by Bel Morocco through its well-known brand “Laughing Cow,” in partnership with the organization “Sport for All Africa,” and with the support of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports.

The program aims to reach approximately 30,000 primary school students during the 2025-2026 academic year, distributed across 48 schools in 12 regions of the kingdom.

This project extends the initiative “La Vache Qui Rit For Good,” reflecting the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, especially since it has received the corporate social responsibility (CSR) label from the General Confederation of Businesses of Morocco. This partnership aims to enhance the efforts of “Sport for All Africa,” a leader in youth inclusion through sports.

The program aligns with the national multi-sectoral nutrition strategy (2024-2030), which seeks to reduce deficiencies in essential nutrients such as iodine and iron, and also with the 2022-2026 roadmap of the Ministry of National Education. Through its products enriched with essential nutrients, “Laughing Cow” continues its mission of providing healthy and sustainable nutrition for Moroccan children and families.

The launch event was held at the “Unity” primary school in Casablanca, attended by representatives from local and educational authorities, where the commencement of the program was announced to begin on October 1. It will be implemented throughout the academic year through workshops for nutritional awareness and sports sessions led by coaches trained by “Sport for All Africa.”

The program is not only limited to students but also contributes to the social and professional integration of youth in NEET situations by providing them with training to work as facilitators within the initiative, opening up new job opportunities for them.

At the event, Leila Alaoui, Marketing Director at Bel Morocco, expressed her pride in launching the program, stating: “We are proud of this initiative that will benefit 30,000 children in various regions of Morocco, and we aim to raise awareness among future generations about the importance of proper nutrition and regular physical activity.”

For his part, Mohamed Amin Zriat, founding president of “Sport for All Africa,” confirmed that this partnership represents a synergy between Bel Morocco’s expertise in nutrition and “Sport for All Africa’s” experience in education through sports, pointing out that the aim is to “enable thousands of children to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle, with the support and trust of the Ministry of National Education.”
