Intensive training and two friendly matches: Wydad leaves its mark before the championship
The Wydad Athletic Club is preparing to launch strongly into the new football season after a brief break to give players a chance to recover. Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 3, the players will return to the intense training environment under the supervision of the coaching staff, aimed at preparing the team to face the challenges of the upcoming season.
As part of their preparation for the official competitions, Wydad will play two friendly matches in the coming days. The first will be against newly-promoted Union de Boujad, while the second will see the team match up against Ittihad Tanger, offering an opportunity for further tactical experimentation before the championship kicks off.
Wydad fans are eagerly anticipating the team’s first official match in the professional championship against Marrakech’s Kawkab on Friday, September 12, at the Mohammed V Stadium. This match will reveal the team’s readiness and cohesion following the intensive preparation period.
