Wydad secures a thrilling comeback victory over Tuwaraka

Wydad Athletic Club defeated their hosts Tuwaraka with a score of 4-3 in an exhilarating match at the city’s stadium in Rabat, as part of the 15th round of the professional league.
Tuwaraka managed to take the lead with a score of 2-1 during the first half, thanks to goals from Mohammed Sahl and Nasser Mustagfir in the 14th and 16th minutes, respectively, while Wydad’s goal came from Wissam Ben Yedder in the 43rd minute.
In the second half, the home team added a third goal in the 55th minute, courtesy of Fouad Zahwani.
Wydad Athletic Club managed to reduce the deficit with a second goal in the 78th minute, thanks to Walid Sabbar’s powerful shot from outside the box.
In the 83rd minute, Wydad received a red card when Walid Nassi was sent off.
In the final minutes, Wydad staged a comeback against the home team, scoring two goals from Hamza El Hanouri and Salah Moudrik in the 90+4 and 90+6 minutes, securing the three points for the red team.
With this victory, Wydad raised their points to 29, sitting in second place, while Tuwaraka remained at 9 points in 14th place.
