Asilah Celebrates Culture and Art in Its Fall Session
The Asilah Forum Foundation has announced the launch of its 46th fall session, under royal patronage, which will take place from September 26 to October 12, 2025. This prominent cultural event will gather over 350 figures from the worlds of politics, art, and media.
Key Activities
The session will kick off with a commemorative event honoring its late founder, Mohamed Ben Issa, through a special symposium held on September 26, 27, and 28. The symposium will bring together his friends and colleagues to reflect on his career as a politician and thinker who contributed to enhancing cultural dialogue.
The program will also include intellectual seminars on important topics, such as the “Atlantic Initiative,” along with two seminars on visual arts on October 3 and 4 titled “Art and the Authority of Technology,” and on October 10 and 11 concerning “The Artistic Institution.”
Awards and Workshops
Among the highlights of the season, the winner of the Feliks Tshikaya Outamsi Prize for African Poetry will be announced on October 9. Additionally, art workshops in painting and engraving will feature artists from several countries, along with workshops dedicated to children in writing and theater.
Artworks will be displayed in various exhibitions, notably a tribute exhibition for Moroccan artist Abdel Karim El Wazani and a photographic exhibition honoring the late Mohamed Ben Issa, which underscores the season’s role in supporting and showcasing artistic talents.
