Two Arrested for Assaulting and Detaining a Minor in Kalaat Seraghna
The police of the regional security office in Kalaat Seraghna managed to arrest two individuals on Tuesday evening, September 23, suspected of being involved in a case of assaulting a 14-year-old minor, detaining him, and putting his life at risk.
The suspects reportedly had a dispute with the minor in the street before they assaulted him and confined him in the trunk of a car, subsequently releasing him in a rural area on the outskirts of the city. Part of these actions was captured in a video that circulated on social media.
Investigations allowed the identification of the suspects, and they were apprehended shortly after the incident, with the vehicle used being seized and stored in the municipal depot by order of the public prosecutor.
The arrested individuals are currently under judicial custody while an investigation is underway, supervised by the relevant public prosecutor, to uncover all the details surrounding this case.
