Nigerian Army Announces the Death of Boko Haram Leader with Intelligence Cooperation from Morocco

Nigerian authorities have confirmed the death of Ibrahim Mohammed, known as “Bakura,” the leader of Boko Haram, during a precise military operation in the southeast of the country, according to the Spanish newspaper La Razón.

The operation was coordinated through close intelligence collaboration between the Nigerian army and Moroccan security services, as part of a security information exchange between Morocco and Sahel-Sahara countries.

This step highlights Morocco’s contribution of expertise in combating terrorism, violent extremism, and organized crime, offering it to regional partners to enhance security and stability in the area.
