Palestinian President’s Adviser: King Mohammed VI’s Aid to Gaza Embodies Deep Human Solidarity

Mahmoud Al-Habbash, the Palestinian President’s adviser for religious affairs, praised the urgent humanitarian and medical aid ordered by King Mohammed VI, the Head of the Jerusalem Committee, for the residents of the Gaza Strip. He noted that this initiative reflects Morocco’s steadfast commitment to the Palestinian cause and represents a generous gesture during a critical humanitarian moment.

In a statement to the Moroccan News Agency, Al-Habbash explained that this initiative is not new for Morocco; rather, it extends from repeated humanitarian stances expressed by the kingdom at various times. He emphasized that the Palestinian people have grown accustomed to Morocco’s fraternal support under the leadership of King Mohammed VI.

The Palestinian President’s adviser affirmed that this support showcases the deep humanitarian sentiment of the king and highlights his continuous commitment to stand by the Palestinians, particularly in times of crisis. He stressed that this recent initiative carries strong symbolic significance given the deteriorating conditions faced by the inhabitants of Gaza.

The Moroccan assistance, announced in an official statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, includes around 180 tons of essential food items, milk and supplies for children, as well as medicines and surgical equipment, in addition to blankets, tents, and supplies aimed at the most vulnerable populations.

This Moroccan move reaffirms the vital role played by the kingdom, not only through political and diplomatic support but also via practical initiatives that enhance the resilience of the Palestinian people and solidify true human solidarity.
