Morocco and Vietnam Aim to Increase Trade Volume

Vietnam is seeking to adopt a new trade policy to double its trade figures with Morocco, which is its second-largest trading partner in North Africa.

Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Dang Hoang Giang stated that his country aims to increase its trade volume with Morocco from $250 million to $500 million in the coming years, as part of strengthening bilateral economic relations between the two countries.

This statement comes as preparations are underway for an anticipated official visit by the Vietnamese parliament speaker to Morocco, aimed at signing a series of agreements. This will be the first visit of its kind in six years.

Relations between Morocco and Vietnam have seen significant development in recent years, especially in the economic, political, and diplomatic spheres, reflecting both countries’ efforts to expand cooperation and achieve mutual interests at all levels.
