The government council will convene next Thursday, chaired by Aziz Akhannouch, the Prime Minister.

A statement from the Prime Minister’s office indicated that the council will initially review a presentation from the Minister of National Education, Preschool, and Sports regarding the data and updates on the 2025 baccalaureate exams.

The same source added that the council will subsequently discuss a draft law concerning amendments to the civil status law, before moving on to review a draft decree that establishes the qualifications required for the duties of a syndic and the fees owed for these roles in insolvency procedures.

The council will then proceed to study a military cooperation agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Government of Burkina Faso, signed in Rabat on July 24, 2024, along with a draft law approving the aforementioned agreement.

The council will conclude its work by reviewing proposals for appointments to high positions in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution.
