The General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises calls for a special holiday on June 9
The President of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises, Chakib Alj, has urged private sector companies to grant a day off on Monday, June 9, 2025, in celebration of Eid al-Adha.
In this context, Mr. Alj stated in his message to the confederation members: “On the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha, which falls on the 10th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 AH, corresponding to Saturday, June 7, 2025, the government has decided, exceptionally, to suspend work in state administrations and local authorities on Monday, June 9, 2025. We encourage private sector companies to also grant their employees this day as a holiday, as much as possible.”
