Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, received the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament of Ghana, Alfred Okyere Vanderpuije, in Rabat on Monday.
In statements to the press following the discussions, which were attended by Ghana’s Ambassador to Morocco, Shariaty Gbedeawo, Vanderpuije praised the strong and deep relations between the two countries, which have been connected since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1961.
He added that his visit aims to enhance parliamentary cooperation between the Moroccan and Ghanaian legislative institutions.
Furthermore, the Ghanaian official described his talks with Bourita as “fruitful,” focusing on strengthening the common interests of both nations, expressing a desire to solidify the shared ideals between Rabat and Accra.
