Kénitra: A Fight Ends in a Horrific Murder of a Minor
The Hope neighborhood in the Sakniya area of Kénitra was shaken this evening by a gruesome murder, claiming the life of a 16-year-old minor who suffered fatal stab wounds to the heart during a fight that escalated into a knife attack.
According to information obtained by Hespress, the victim, identified as Youssef from the Al-Isam neighborhood, was involved in a dispute with a 23-year-old man known by the nickname “7 – Sept.” The conflict escalated into a brawl that culminated in a horrific crime near the "Waleediyah" café.
The incident prompted a swift response from the police, as the anti-gang unit quickly identified the perpetrator and apprehended him within a few hours, a move that has been met with widespread relief among the local residents.
The minor’s body has been transported to the morgue for autopsy, while the suspect has been placed in custody under the direction of the public prosecutor, pending the completion of the investigation and his eventual presentation before the judiciary.
