With the permission of the Commander of the Faithful, the Higher Scientific Council will hold its ordinary spring session on May 23 and 24 in Rabat.

By the permission of the Commander of the Faithful, the High Scientific Council will hold its regular spring session on May 23 and 24 in Rabat.

In this regard, the High Scientific Council issued the following statement:

“By the permission of our master, Commander of the Faithful, King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, President of the High Scientific Council,

And in execution of the provisions of the Royal Decree No. 1.03.300 issued on the 2nd of Rabi’ al-Awwal 1425 (April 22, 2004) regarding the reorganization of scientific councils as amended, particularly the first paragraph of Article 4;

And in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree No. 1.04.231 issued on the 7th of Muharram 1426 (February 16, 2005) which approved the internal regulations of the High Scientific Council, especially Articles 5 and 6; and Royal Decree No. 1.23.47 issued on the 26th of Dhu al-Qi’dah 1444 (June 15, 2023) and Royal Decree No. 1.23.48 issued on the same date; the High Scientific Council will hold its regular spring session (the thirty-fifth session) on Friday and Saturday, the 25th and 26th of Dhu al-Qi’dah 1446 / May 23 and 24, 2025, following the Asr prayer at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the High Scientific Council in the Al-Irfan district of Rabat.

The council’s committees will dedicate their time to studying the issues listed on the session’s agenda, which include the following:

– The Scholars’ Charter program as part of a communication strategy;
– A communication strategy in the context of openness and cooperation with surrounding institutions;
– Regional management of the scientific institution within the context of support and unified operational vision;
– The performance report of the Fatwa Committee between sessions;
– Follow-up on the work of the Scientific Committee for Studies and Research;
– Follow-up on the work of the Islamic Heritage Revival Committee.”
