The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened its trading today, Friday, with an increase, as its main index “MAZI” recorded a rise of 0.29%, settling at 17,440.03 points.
Both the “MASI.20” index, which reflects the performance of 20 listed companies, and the “MASI.ESG,” which includes companies with the best ratings, saw an increase of 0.23% each, reaching 1,421.67 points and 1,201.57 points, respectively.
Meanwhile, the “MASI Mid and Small Cap,” which tracks the performance of small and medium enterprises listed on the exchange, gained 0.42%, reaching 1,714.35 points.
Regarding individual stocks, the strongest gains were recorded by “Stia” (+2.64% to 933 Dirhams), “CMG Group” (+2.52% to 317.8 Dirhams), “Disway” (+2.45% to 796 Dirhams), “Sonasid” (+2.38% to 2,150 Dirhams), and “Jet Contractors” (+2.33% to 2,200 Dirhams).
Conversely, the most significant losses were recorded by “Total Energies Marketing Morocco” (-2.72% to 1,822 Dirhams), “Vinibroset” (-2.69% to 282 Dirhams), “Delta Holding” (-2.65% to 80.31 Dirhams), “Dar Assadaqah Residences” (-1.81% to 100.15 Dirhams), and “Lafarge Holcim Morocco” (-1.63% to 1,869 Dirhams).
The MAZI index had concluded trading the day before, Wednesday, with a gain of 0.11%.
