Press Release: Mokouina Leaves Wydad, Benhashim Appointed as Head Coach
The board of directors of Wydad Athletic Club has announced that first team coach, Rulani Mokouina, has been granted special permission to take a leave that extends beyond the team’s last match in the professional league, due to the significant psychological pressures he has faced recently.
In its statement, the club confirmed that the contractual relationship with coach Rulani will officially end immediately after the conclusion of the league, in full compliance with the terms of the contract between the two parties, without any financial compensation other than the pending monthly salaries.
Sporting director and national coach Amin Benhashim has been tasked with leading the first team during this transition, with best wishes extended to the former coach for his future endeavors.
