Nominations for Asmaa Lamnawar for an International Award

The organizing committee of the “Daf Bama Music Awards” has nominated Moroccan artist Asmaa Lamnawar to compete in this year’s edition of the famous contest, in recognition of her rich artistic journey and influence in the Arab music scene.

This nomination came as a result of the significant success she achieved this year, both in terms of artistic releases and the large concerts she performed, managing to maintain her strong presence in the Arab artistic landscape, thus solidifying her status as one of Morocco’s leading female voices.

Asmaa is competing in the category of “Best Arab Female Artist” alongside several prominent names in the music industry, reflecting the growing interest in Moroccan music on international platforms and enhancing the shine of Moroccan musical culture globally.

The official page of the contest praised the talent of the artist behind "Indhu al-Zin," highlighting that she is a performer who has stood on the most prestigious stages and collaborated with the most acclaimed Arab poets and composers, and that major stars have chosen her to share their works that have become classics in the Arab music library. It added that the Moroccan singer represents cultural and musical diversity and is a true representative of her country Morocco and Arab music.

It is worth noting that the “Daf Bama Music Awards,” held in Germany, annually honors the top music stars in the world and focuses on artists who enjoy wide popularity in their regions and produce works that express their cultural identity.

The final results are expected to be announced during a grand ceremony held annually in Oberhausen, attended by artists and stars from around the world, attracting the attention of international media.
