The regional hospital center in Zemouri, located in Kenitra, played host on Saturday to a national meeting organized by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection. The gathering aimed to standardize reception protocols across healthcare institutions, marking a significant step towards enhancing service quality and improving patient interactions within public facilities.
Key officials from both central and regional health administrations participated, alongside administrative staff and hospital directors from various regions. Attendees were introduced to a national guideline designed to streamline the admission process for patients and their companions in hospitals, serving as a unified reference point for these operations.
The new guideline emphasizes practical standards intended to elevate the quality of reception services, improve communication with patients, and ensure their dignity is respected. This initiative advocates for standardized approaches across diverse healthcare settings.
Additionally, the session featured a presentation from the Moulay Youssef Regional Hospital in Casablanca, recognized for its exemplary organization of reception services. The ministry aims to draw lessons from this model to expand similar practices to other hospitals.
This workshop is part of broader efforts to reform the national healthcare system by enhancing access to medical services, reducing waiting times, and cultivating a culture of attentiveness and respect in patient interactions. Such improvements are expected to boost service quality and increase patient satisfaction.
Through this initiative, the ministry seeks to embed reception as a fundamental component of governance reforms within healthcare institutions, paving the way for more effective and efficient public services that meet citizens’ expectations.
