Weather Forecast for Saturday in Morocco

Weather Forecast for Saturday in Morocco
A A

The Moroccan National Meteorological Directorate has issued a weather forecast for Saturday, July 18, predicting a shift toward hot to extremely hot conditions across various regions. Areas such as the Eastern region, the Moulouya Valley, the Saïs plains, and parts of Souss are expected to experience significant heat, raising concerns about health and daily activities.

Hot Weather Ahead

As the heat intensifies, low clouds may form in the morning and evening near the Atlantic coasts, potentially accompanied by fog or light localized rain. Additionally, there will be unstable clouds over the High and Middle Atlas Mountains and their western regions, indicating a mix of weather patterns.

Wind and Temperature Variations

Moderate to strong gusts are anticipated across the Atlas, Eastern region, central plains, and southern provinces, with dust storms expected in some locales. Morning temperatures will range from 25°C to 32°C in the Eastern region, the Moulouya Valley, Mediterranean coasts, the southeastern region, Souss, and within desert areas. Meanwhile, temperatures in the mountainous regions will fluctuate between 12°C and 18°C, while the rest of the country will register between 19°C and 24°C.

Daytime Weather Stability

Daytime temperatures are generally expected to remain stable. The Mediterranean Sea is forecasted to be calm to slightly choppy, with varied conditions along the other coastlines, indicating a mixed bag for maritime activities.

As summer progresses, these weather patterns will continue to play a crucial role in shaping daily life and economic activities in Morocco.
