The Moroccan meteorological agency has issued forecasts indicating enduring hot weather in the southeastern regions and the far south of the country this Friday. Meanwhile, temperatures are expected to decrease in the northern and central areas, with a notable drop in the eastern region.
Weather Overview
This morning and evening, low-lying clouds are anticipated along the central Atlantic coasts and in the Mediterranean area, possibly accompanied by light fog or very light rain. Additionally, gusty winds are forecasted in the southern provinces, southeastern regions, the Atlas Mountains, and the eastern area, which may stir up localized dust.
Temperature Expectations
The expected minimum temperatures will range from 24 to 30 degrees Celsius in the southeastern regions and the extreme south, while areas in the Atlas Mountains will see lows between 14 and 18 degrees. Other regions across the kingdom can expect temperatures between 17 and 24 degrees.
Sea Conditions
Maritime conditions are predicted to be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean and Bougaz Strait, mildly turbulent in the northern area of Boujdour, and varying from slightly choppy to rough in the southern Boujdour region.
