Upon her arrival at the foundation, Princess Lalla Asma was greeted with a formal presentation from a contingent of auxiliary forces. She was then welcomed by several government officials, including the Minister of National Education, the Minister of Higher Education, and local officials, reinforcing the event’s importance within the context of national educational policies.
Before the ceremony commenced, Princess Lalla Asma toured the facility’s various resources, notably the sports training ground developed in partnership with Real Madrid’s football academy. This visit showcased the extensive educational and recreational opportunities available to students, demonstrating the foundation’s comprehensive approach to nurturing young talent.
Celebrating Achievements
During the ceremony, Karim Saqali, the foundation’s president, emphasized the institution’s core belief that every child deserves the right to learn and succeed, regardless of their challenges. He reported that nearly 500 students across Rabat, Tangier, and Meknes benefited from their programs, with the recent opening of a center in Meknes marking a significant expansion of services.
Additionally, an agreement was signed to enhance collaboration in developing skills and promoting professional integration, garnering support from various government ministries and university institutions aimed at embedding talent within the national economy.
Cultural Expressions of Hope
The event also featured a theatrical performance by the students titled “Market of Promises,” reflecting their aspirations for a brighter future. Attendees were treated to a heartfelt artistic tribute to the national football team, including a video message from players based in Mexico who offered words of encouragement to the students. A moving duet of “Give Me a Signal,” sung by artist Manal Cherki and a student using sign language, captivated the audience, highlighting the foundation’s dedication to artistic expression.
In a symbolic gesture, the foundation distributed 100 hearing aids to children, part of an initiative aimed at bolstering their educational integration. This effort reinforces the foundation’s mission to enhance students’ learning capabilities, ensuring they have the necessary tools to thrive.
Exemplary Academic Achievements
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates to high-achieving students, celebrating a remarkable 100% success rate in Baccalaureate examinations among twelve candidates. Furthermore, ten students progressed to higher secondary education, while twenty-eight advanced to the next level, alongside outstanding results in higher education programs including bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
Attended by government officials, diplomatic representatives, and community members, the event underscored the growing institutional significance of this educational and social initiative, further cementing its impact on the lives of those it serves.
