Casablanca Hosts Final Stop of “Ahrar Program” Tour

A Campaign for the People: The PAM’s National Tour Culminates in Casablanca

On July 2, 2026, Morocco’s National Rally of Independents (RNI) culminated its national tour in Casablanca, presenting its “RNI Program” as a cornerstone of its electoral strategy. This event, the final stop after Fes, Oujda, and Marrakech, aimed to engage citizens and outline commitments in anticipation of upcoming elections.

Context

The RNI’s nationwide tour, which began in 2018, has seen the party organize hundreds of meetings across the kingdom. These initiatives are rooted in direct citizen engagement, with over 100,000 participants contributing to dialogues aimed at shaping a program that resonates with the Moroccan populace. This extensive outreach reflects the party’s commitment to addressing the priorities of everyday citizens.

Key Commitments Unveiled

At its first gathering in Fes, the RNI launched its initial commitment focused on “sustainable protection of purchasing power.” This initiative includes four key areas: social support, savings mechanisms for workers in the informal sector, wage enhancements, and educational cost aid for families. The party pledged to introduce these elements gradually through regional meetings, culminating in a nationwide presentation.

Following Fes, the second meeting in Oujda revealed the party’s second commitment: ensuring the quality of public services across various regions. This encompasses securing sustainable access to water resources, enhancing energy security while lowering electricity costs through renewable energy initiatives, and continuing reforms in education and healthcare to bridge regional disparities and improve public service quality.

The third stop in Marrakech reiterated this approach, with a tailored focus on engaging citizens directly and assessing government performance. Each regional meeting has aimed to present one significant program pillar while fostering a robust dialogue around pressing economic and social issues.

The Grande Finale in Casablanca

Casablanca marks the final leg of this ambitious tour, and party officials have indicated that this stop will unveil yet another commitment within the RNI program, setting the stage for a comprehensive unveiling at a forthcoming national meeting. This culmination is more than a mere presentation of policies; it represents the party’s vision to cultivate closer ties with citizens and foster public discourse around key socio-economic topics.

The RNI argues that these gatherings are integral to a broader strategy of citizen engagement, aiming not only to inform but also to empower Moroccans in the political discourse surrounding their futures.
