Weather Forecast for Thursday in Morocco

Weather Forecast for Thursday in Morocco
A A

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts a hot day across several regions of the country, particularly in the southeastern areas, desert regions, and the western interior. This persistence of high temperatures will also be felt in the Saïss plains, the plains of Souss, and other areas west of the Atlas Mountains.

Weather Patterns Across Regions

In the morning and evening, low clouds combined with fog and light local rain are expected to develop over the Atlantic coastal plains, the Souss region, and the Mediterranean coast. Additionally, unstable and thunderstorm-prone clouds are likely to gather over the Middle Atlas and the eastern region, as well as the eastern slopes of the Atlas Mountains. Here, there is a chance for localized showers, which could include hail in certain areas.

Wind and Temperature Expectations

Strong gusts of wind are anticipated in the Tangier region, the eastern area, the southeastern regions, and the desert provinces, where dust may be raised locally.

Nighttime temperatures will range between 11 and 17 degrees Celsius in the mountainous regions, while the southeastern areas and desert regions will see warmer lows of 24 to 30 degrees. The remainder of the country will experience temperatures between 17 and 23 degrees. Daytime highs are predicted to rise slightly in the northern and central Atlantic plains, around the Atlas region and the southern provinces, while remaining stable or slightly lower in others.

Marine Conditions

The sea is expected to be moderately to choppy along the Mediterranean coastline and in the Strait of Gibraltar, as well as along the entire coast. As meteorological conditions continue to fluctuate, residents are advised to stay informed about the changing weather, particularly in affected areas.
