The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued warnings for the day, predicting mild to hot weather, especially in regions such as Souss and the southern provinces. Overnight and into the morning, dense low clouds will be accompanied by fog, affecting visibility in parts of the northwest and Mediterranean areas. Additionally, strong gusts of wind are anticipated in the central plains and southern provinces, potentially stirring up local dust and reducing air quality.
Temperature Outlook
Nighttime temperatures in southeastern Morocco and the far south will range from 24 to 28 degrees Celsius, while the mountainous regions can expect cooler conditions, with temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees. The remainder of the country will experience mild temperatures from 15 to 23 degrees. During the daytime, thermometers are set to rise in the Mediterranean and eastern regions, while temperatures in other areas may see little change or a slight decline.
Marine Conditions
The sea conditions are expected to vary, with calm to slightly rough waters off the Mediterranean coast and in the Strait of Gibraltar. However, between Tangier and Asilah, the sea will be slightly agitated, and further south, rough waters are likely, creating challenging conditions for maritime activities.
