Weather Forecast for Monday in Morocco

Weather Forecast for Thursday in Morocco
A A

As the week progresses, Morocco braces itself for fluctuating weather patterns characterized by localized heat and occasional precipitation, particularly in the southeast and various coastal regions. The General Directorate of Meteorology cautions citizens about varying conditions that might affect daily activities.

Weather Overview

On Monday, the weather will remain somewhat hot in the southeastern regions of Morocco, alongside parts of the eastern and southern desert territories. Low clouds accompanied by fog or light rain are predicted in northern and central Atlantic foothills, the Saïss region, northern southern provinces, the Mediterranean coast, and areas within Souss.

Severe Conditions Expected

The forecast also indicates the possibility of scattered thunderstorms and rain showers developing over the Middle Atlas and eastern regions. Citizens should be prepared for gusty winds in the southern provinces and southeastern areas, which may lead to localized dust storms.

Temperature Fluctuations

Nighttime temperatures are anticipated to range between 7 to 15 degrees Celsius in the Atlas and Rif mountainous areas, and between 20 to 26 degrees in the southeastern regions and eastern and southern desert provinces. Elsewhere across the country, temperatures will generally fluctuate between 15 to 25 degrees. During the day, a slight reduction in temperatures is expected in the southern regions, northern and central foothills, as well as in the Saïss and Souss regions. Conversely, other parts of the kingdom might experience a minimal rise in temperatures.

Coastal Conditions

The sea is expected to remain calm to slightly choppy along the Mediterranean coastline and the Bou Regreg area, while conditions between Tangier and El Jorf will also be mildly disturbed. However, the waters along other coastlines might be moderately rough, presenting potential challenges for maritime activities.
