The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts a warm day on Friday, particularly in the southeastern regions, the far south, the Saïss area, the Moulouya Valley, and parts of the eastern region, with mild warmth also expected in the plains west of the Atlas Mountains. As night falls, low clouds accompanied by fog or light rain are likely along the Atlantic coast, in the northwestern desert areas, and the Mediterranean front.
Weather Conditions Expected
The forecast specifies that moderate gusts of wind are anticipated along the coasts and central plains, as well as in the eastern region and southern areas, potentially stirring up dust locally.
Temperature Variations
During the night, temperatures will range from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius in the southeast and the far south, and from 6 to 12 degrees in the highlands. Other parts of the country can expect temperatures between 15 and 20 degrees.
Daytime Temperature Changes
Daytime temperatures will see a slight increase in areas including Tangier, Saïss, the Middle Atlas, and the eastern region, while remaining stable or decreasing in other regions. The sea conditions will vary, being calm to slightly turbulent in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, and moderate to rough between Tangier and Asilah, with strong waves expected in the south.
