Coastal areas along the Atlantic and Mediterranean will experience thick low-lying clouds accompanied by patchy fog and light drizzle, while thunderstorms, possibly with hail, are expected in certain mountainous regions.
Upcoming Weather Patterns
The weather will showcase a mix of conditions throughout the day, particularly in the Rif and southern High Atlas regions, where more thunderstorms could develop. Additionally, moderate to strong winds will sweep through the mountainous areas and eastern slopes, as well as the desert provinces, bringing localized dust storms.
Temperature Variations
Nighttime temperatures will range from 10 to 15 degrees Celsius in the High Atlas mountains, while areas such as the Moulouya Valley, eastern region, southeastern Morocco, and the southernmost parts of the country will see temperatures between 24 and 30 degrees Celsius. Other regions will register temperatures between 16 and 23 degrees Celsius.
Daytime Outlook
Daytime temperatures are set to rise in the eastern Mediterranean and northern eastern regions, while a slight decrease is anticipated in the northern inland plains. Most other parts of the country will see little change in temperature.
Sea Conditions
Maritime conditions will also vary, with the Mediterranean exhibiting mild to moderate waves. The Strait of Gibraltar will be slightly more agitated, while areas between Tangier and Asilah should expect tranquil to mildly choppy waters. Similarly, conditions between Asilah and Laayoune will remain moderate to slightly choppy, with rougher conditions likely from Laayoune to Goulimime.
