The Moroccan national football team arrived in the United States on Wednesday, gearing up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The “Atlas Lions” were warmly welcomed at Newark Liberty International Airport, where they were greeted by Moroccan Ambassador to Washington, Youssef Amrani, and the Kingdom’s Consul General in New York, Mohamed Ait Behi. A considerable number of Moroccan expatriates also gathered to show their support for the team ahead of the tournament.
