A significant increase in ticket prices for the 2026 World Cup final has been announced by FIFA, with the cost of the highest-priced ticket now exceeding $10,990, up from an initial price of $8,680.
The increase also applies to other categories, with second-category tickets rising to $7,380 from $5,575, while third-category tickets have reached $5,785 compared to their previous price of $4,185.
Ticket sales resumed yesterday, Wednesday, following the confirmation of the 48 participating national teams. However, the federation emphasized that the remaining tickets for 104 matches will not be released all at once but will be distributed in stages.
So far, tickets for only 17 matches out of the 72 in the group stage have been listed, with no tickets for the knockout stage matches available yet.
This is the fifth phase of the initial sales, allowing fans to select a specific seat instead of simply purchasing a ticket from a given category.
