On April 17, 2026, the Boskoura region witnessed the inauguration of an expansion project by Fortune Maroc, a leading player in the biscuit, chocolate, and snack production sector. The event, attended by key figures including the Minister of Industry and Trade and the Ambassador of Jordan, marks a significant milestone aimed at boosting the company’s production capacity and expanding its footprint in the national market.

Strengthening Local Production

The expansion project signifies a major investment of approximately 220 million dirhams and is set to create over 300 new direct jobs, raising the company’s workforce to more than 600 by the end of 2025. With the addition of new manufacturing lines dedicated to biscuits and various confections, Fortune Maroc aims to meet the growing demand for its products while enhancing the local food industry.

The initiative comes at a time when Morocco is keen to bolster its food production capabilities, particularly in the snack and sweets segment. This not only supports the national economy but also strengthens supply chains within the sector, contributing to job creation and industrial growth.

Future Plans on the Horizon

Fortune Maroc is already planning a second phase of expansion that will involve the acquisition and installation of additional production lines for biscuits and chocolate. This next stage is expected to require an estimated investment of 65 million dirhams and could generate more than 150 new direct positions in the medium to long term.

Founded in 2012 with Jordanian capital, Fortune Maroc began as an importer and distributor of food products before transitioning to local manufacturing in 2014. Today, it offers a wide array of biscuits and confections, with aspirations to expand further into export markets.

A Promising Future for the Industry

The significant investment in the expansion of Fortune Maroc reflects a broader trend within Morocco’s food industry, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing local production and meeting both domestic and international demand. As the company continues to innovate and grow, its trajectory is poised to serve as a catalyst for similar enterprises in the region.
